Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Brooklyn is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

On [7.35am ;June 5 2026], while driving on Flatbush Avenue near Marine Park Golf Course, a golf ball from your facility struck my vehicle and shattered the windshield. I had children in the car, and this created a serious safety risk. I am requesting that this incident be formally recorded and reviewed, and that safety measures along this section of the course be evaluated (netting, barriers, or warning signage). No apology or concern was expressed by staff, and I was only advised to contact my insurance, despite the potential safety risk involved.

Great golf course! Layout was great, fairways and greens were extremely well kept and fair pricing. Theyโ€™ve definitely done a few upgrades on greens keeping in the last couple of years. The clubhouse was welcoming and accommodating towards early morning tee times. HOWEVER, I donโ€™t think Iโ€™ve ever been bit this much by mosquitos in my entire life. If you do come to this course during the season, DO NOT forget bug spray.

At best it's a 4-star muni golf course with average course conditions that charge you a premium. Some holes are in better conditions than others but totally playable. The best part of the course are the greens; smooth with decent speed and enough undulations to have fun. The driving range is poor with irons only and use salvage balls from the field. Overall, it's a simple course with average course conditions.

Love this course. Long and fun layout. Feels like one of the few course in the city that you can actually use the full bag. Long par 5s a variety of par 4s and solid par 3s. Nice mix of water, tree lined holes etc. greens roll true. Reasonably priced, very fun, solid condition, well stocked beverage cart, friendly staff and pretty casual atmosphere. Iโ€™ve been a golfer for 20+ years but newer to the NYC golf scene and this seems to be one of the more slept on course but by far my favorite in the city. Driving range is very short and irons only. Pro Tip: bring a little bug spray for the first few holes by the water because the mosquitoes get wicked in the summer

Iโ€™ve played a lot of courses in the area, and this one stands out in almost every way. The practice facilities are topnotch from the range to the short game area, everything is well-maintained and thoughtfully laid out. The course itself is in fantastic shape, with beautiful fairways, true rolling greens, and a layout that challenges without punishing. What really makes this place special is the staff. Everyone from the pro shop to the starters and rangers is welcoming, professional, and clearly takes pride in the course. The only reason Iโ€™m giving this 2 stars instead of 5 is the golf carts. Theyโ€™re outdated, uncomfortable, and really donโ€™t match the high standards set by the rest of the facility. Upgrade those, and this would be a 5-star experience all day long. Still, I highly recommend playing here you wonโ€™t be disappointed.
